Game Drives:
Paraa safari lodge offers its guests game drives in Murchison Falls national park. Game drives in the park are a wonderful way for visitors to explore the adverse landscapes in the park as well as the wildlife. During a game drive in the park, visitors can sight wildlife animals such as; elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, impala, zebras, Jackson’s hartebeest and oribis among others.
Game drives take visitors through the scenic Buligi area west of Parra to the Delta point, where the Victoria Nile passes through the Northern tip of Lake Albert to become the Albert Nile.
Guests staying at Paraa lodge can opt to do either morning or evening game drives. Morning game drives begin at exactly 7am while evening game drives commence at 4pm, and usually take between 2-3 hours. Visitors staying at the lodge are advised to give prior notice to management at the lodge, who will book for you an UWA ranger guide to accompany you during the game drive and help you easily spot game in the park.
Chimpanzee Trekking:
Visitors staying at Paraa lodge can embark on chimpanzee trekking activities. Guests can trek chimpanzees in Kaniyo Pabidi forest, which is located just 56kms from Paraa lodge. Alternatively, visitors can do chimpanzee trekking in Rabongo Forest which is just a 1½ hour drive from the lodge.

Birding activities are available for guests who are bird lovers. Murchison Falls national park is home to over 451 bird species and some species of birds that visitors can sight include; the African Fish Eagle, the White-tailed Lark, the Martial Eagle and the rare Shoebill stork among others.
Hike to Murchison Falls:
Guests who enjoy hiking trips can choose to hike to the top Murchison Falls. The vigorous hiking expedition start immediately after a boat cruise, which leaves guests at the Fajao gorge. The hiking trip will take visitors between 45-60 minutes to get to the Top of the falls.
