Entrance fees to Murchison falls national park: Murchison Falls National Park is by far the biggest national park in Uganda, covering an area of over 3,840 square kilometers. It is among one of the 10 national parks in Uganda, and is located in the northern region of the country. The national park was first established in 1926 as a game reserve and later gazetted as a national park in 1952. It is home to about 451 species of birds and 76 mammal species. However, Ugandan Pupils or rather students are charged UGX 3,000 as park entrance fees. Ugandan students from tertiary institutions pay UGX 5,000 and those from Uganda Wildlife Clubs are charged UGX 2,000. However, visitors can also pay for park annual park entrance passes, which grant a visitor unlimited access to the national park. The annual park entrance passes are not valid for activities done in the national park such as gorilla trekking, hiking, chimpanzee trekking, and mountaineering among others.

Ferry crossing fees in Murchison Falls National Park are charged according to the weight in tonnes and size of the vehicle that is crossing using the ferry. It is important for visitors to know that the ferry has scheduled times for crossing, hence one must always keep time or else stand a chance of being left behind.

However, school buses with children and vehicle drivers are not charged for using the ferry to cross. The above prices are for scheduled crossing, one way for transit vehicles and only valid until 7pm. Vehicles in excess of 20 tonnes are have to request for special approval in order to use the ferry.
- Air craft landing fees in Murchison falls national park

All aircrafts pay a fee of UGX 10,000 per day, as parking fees. Landing fees excludes entry fees payable by passengers, and pilots en-route do not pay entry fees if they are spending less than 2 hours in the national park.

Only pre-registered vehicles will undertake night game drives. Visitors are also required to use UWA guides for the night game drives. Visitors doing a day game drive in the national park are charged per vehicles, while night game drives are charged per person.
