How to get to Murchison and its Budget Accommodation in Murchison Falls
Murchison falls national park in Uganda can be accessed by means of either road or air transport. Visitors travelling to the park you can either use the northern or the southern gates to enter the park.
Road transport: When travelling to the national park you will drive in a private car, public or self-drive from Kampala via Masindi and then to the park which takes about 4 to 5 hours’ drive.
Air transport: Visitors can access Murchison Falls national park by air. You can book domestic flights from either Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi airfield to Pakuba airfield, Chobe airfield in the northern sector or Bugungu airfield in the southern sector and the flight takes about one hour.
