Detailed Itinerary for 6 Days Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari
Day 1: Pickup in Arusha and Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
Pickup in Arusha. After lunch, go to Lake Manyara, a soda lake located in the Rift Valley. Game drives at Lake Manyara National Park, home to tree-climbing lions. Aside from the many types of scenery, such as jungle, marsh, and savanna, there are a wide range of creatures, including giraffes, zebras, elephants, gazelles, hippos, monkeys, and around 400 distinct bird species. Dinner and overnight stay in a lodge in Manyara.
Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park for Game Drive
After breakfast, head for Serengeti Fort Ikoma with lunch box, stopping for wildlife drives in Serengeti National Park along the way.
This massive park supports every type of animal conceivable, from giant predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs to the smaller herbivores they feast on. Dinner and stay at a resort in the Serengeti
Day 3: Full Day Game Drive
On the third day of your 6 Days Lake Manyara Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari, you will spend the entire day on a game drive in this National Park, which is home to a diverse range of wildlife. To optimize wildlife viewing, you will bring a picnic lunch and spend the entire day in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and stay at your designated Serengeti lodge.
Day 4: Transfer from Serengeti to Karatu
After breakfast, drive to your lodge in Karatu, which is located just outside the Ngorongoro conservation area.
The crater encompasses more than 300 square kilometers and is home to rare black rhinos, lion, elephant, and cheetah prides, as well as large herds of buffalo, antelope, and wildebeest. On the route, stop by Oldupai Gorge, where Louis and Mary Leakey made their famous archeological findings. They discovered some of the man’s oldest known ancestral bones. Arrive for lunch at the lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend over 600 meters to the crater bottom for a full-day trip. Explore the woodland sections inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area where you may observe flamingos, and the wide grassland where lions forage for food. Picnic lunches will be offered at the crater.
Return to the Lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer Back to Arusha
On the last day of your 6 Days Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari, breakfast will be served at your lodge. You will enjoy a short morning game drive as you exit the park and drive back to Arusha. You will have a stopover for lunch en-route to Arusha city where upon your arrival, you will be dropped off at a hotel of your choice bringing your tour to an end.
