Our 6 Days Kibale, Semuliki & Queen Elizabeth Tour on a spectacular journey to Kibale forest where you will track habituated chimpanzees in Kibale national park. Later explore Bigodi swamp where you will get an opportunity to see the highly sought after Shoebill stork and other bird species within the area. You will then transfer to Semuliki national park where you will visit the hot springs and enjoy a night game drive in the park.
Conclude your 6 Days Uganda safari with a visit to Queen Elizabeth national park. The park is Uganda’s second largest national park and home to the famous tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector. Enjoy a morning game drive in the park and later have a sunset boat cruise on Kazinga channel accompanied with a chilled cocktail drink on the boat.

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Transfer to Kibale: Meet up with our company representative upon your arrival at Entebbe International airport or from your hotel in Kampala. After getting acquainted with your guide/driver, proceed with your long journey to Kibale Forest National Park. The Park is a home to almost 13 primate species. These include red colobus and L’Hoest monkey and many more. You will have a stopover at the equator monuments in Kayabwe and for lunch in Mbarara town enroute to the park. Proceed with the journey to Kibale forest. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest guest house/Kyaninga lodge for luxury.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast, you will set out for chimp tracking within the Kibale Forest. During your search, expect to see a lot of primate species like chimpanzees, monkeys and other animals like the forest elephants, bush pig and duiker, warthogs, reptiles and amphibians as well as a colorful variety of butterflies. Return to the Lodge for lunch.
After lunch go for a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp area and look out for most of the water loving bird species. The forest /Park has almost 335 species of birds and therefore a good place for birders. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 3: Hot Springs visit and night game drive at Semuliki national park
Before dawn, have breakfast and depart for Semuliki National Park through the eastern Albertine area. Semuliki National Park located in the basin of the western rift valley is one of the parks endowed with many habitats ranging from rain forests, Riparian forests to short and high grass Savannah, enter the park and visit the hot springs before you drive to your lodge.
Night game drives are also common in the park that reward you with nocturnal animals like the white tailed mangoose and the slender mangoose, the standard and pennant winged night jars, cats, hyenas, leopards, among others. This park offers surprises because you can never tell what to find and it is also the only park in Uganda that offers a spot lit night drive. Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After enjoying your cup of coffee in the morning, depart the park and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park-home to the tree climbing lions. Depending on your time, have a stopover for lunch and at the Equator to take some pictures before entering the park. Connect to exploration crater lakes in the park before you proceed to rest at your lodge. Day 5: Game drive and Launch cruise
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set out for the game drive in search for early risers in the Kasenyi area. The park has diverse eco-system of grassy plains, rivers, crater lakes, forests, swamps and lakes. These are a home to various types of wildlife and a game drive in Queen Elizabeth will reward you with views of animals such as lions, antelopes, buffalos, elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob and other types of antelopes.
Return to your Lodge for lunch and after, go for a 3 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This cruise will let you pass through a place of the highest concentration of hippos and you may also see many animals drinking at the water’s edge. The cruise also offers good platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
Day 6: Transfer Back to Kampala & Departure
Wake up at leisure and have a relaxed breakfast at your lodge. After checking out of your lodge, meet up with your guide/driver and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport depending on your departure flight schedule. If you still have more free time before your return flight, you can take a short tour of Kampala or Entebbe towns depending on what you prefer. End of Tour
