Day 1: Pickup and Transfer to Masai Mara
On the first day of your safari, you’ll be picked up in Nairobi and welcomed to Kenya. You will receive a briefing before driving to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will stop at Narok town to interact with the Maasai and other inhabitants.
Your guide will take you on an evening wildlife drive in the Masai Mara reserve, where you may see elephants, giraffes, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, and rhinos. Following your wildlife drive, you will be transported to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
Breakfast will be provided at your lodge prior to your morning gameviewing excursion in the Masai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast, go to the reserve to see wildlife, including the big five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos) and other animals.
You will have lunch after your morning game drive. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on another game drive to explore a different part of Masai Mara National Reserve while watching the sunset, before returning to your lodge for dinner and the night.
Day 3: Hot Air Balloon Tour and Game Drive
Wake up in the morning and head out to the park for briefing. You will then embark on a hot air balloon tour in Masai Mara. Hot air balloon tours in Masai Mara commence at 4am and take only an hour. As your guide leads you to the balloon launch site, you’ll feel the excitement build. While you sip a steaming hot cup of coffee or tea, the balloon staff will fill your balloon and ready it for takeoff. Once the balloon is inflated and you’ve gotten into the basket underneath it, your pilot will give you a briefing before launching the balloon. As the sun begins to rise in a spectacular display of brilliant reds and golds, your balloon will gently ascend to the skies.
After your hot air balloon tour, you will have bush breakfast and then embark on a game drive in the park where you can search for other wildlife animals that you might not have seen during your previous game drives. You will have lunch at your lodge.

Day 4: Visit Masai Bomas and Transfer to Nairobi
However, this is the final day of your 4 Day Masai Mara Wildlife and Hot air balloon Safari! Begin the day with a substantial breakfast at your lodge/camp. Meet your driver guide and depart for Nairobi city. As you travel to Nairobi, you will stop in Narok county to visit the Maasai Bomas for a cultural tour. You get the opportunity to tour their local homesteads, engage with the pleasant residents, explore craft shops, and even participate in Maasai traditional dancing.
Continue your trip to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Have lunch in Nairobi, and then your driver guide will drop you off at your preferred hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. If you still have time to explore, you may take a brief tour of Nairobi, seeing intriguing attractions such as the Giraffe Center, Snake Park, and artisan market, among others.
