Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda)
Upon arrival, you will meet our company representative/driver who will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Bwindi forest located northwards, a journey of about 3 hours trip to Rushaga or Nkuringo sectors of Bwindi impenetrable national park. Cross over to Uganda heading to Bwindi impenetrable national park, home to remaining Mountain Gorillas.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trek in Bwindi forest and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early in the morning after breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing from the UWA officials, then set off for the gorilla trekking. This is a once-lifetime experience and unforgettable safari adventure. The ranger guides will lead you into the thick forest and start your search for the endangered Mountain Gorillas. The activity can take 3-7 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet the gorillas. On meeting them, you will be allowed to spend about an hour viewing them and taking photographs. This is an awesome and exciting moment.
After your gorilla trek excursion and lunch, you will drive about 1-2 hours to Lake Bunyonyi where you will arrive in the evening and check into your lodge. Dinner will be served at your lodge.
Day 3: Boat Ride on Lake Bunyonyi
Have breakfast at leisure. Today is a relaxed day so you can choose to spend your morning hours relaxing and enjoying amenities at your lodge. Later in the afternoon or evening, you will head out for a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi on a traditional canoe. The lake is a popular birding destination for birding enthusiasts with a variety of bird species including the Pied Wagtail, Pin-tailed whyder, and Black-headed Weaver to mention but a few.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kigali:
After a delicious breakfast, you will drive to cross over to Rwanda via the Cyanika/Katuna border post to transfer back to Kigali. Driver/Tour guide may take you around the city visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site and the local handicrafts market, then proceed to the airport for your departure flight.
