Day 1: Pickup from Nairobi and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
A representative from Explore Rwanda Tours will pick you up from your location in Nairobi and set off for your destination which is Amboseli National Park. You will travel by the Athi plains and have a break in Emali town before continuing on a bumpy road to Amboseli National Park. You’ll arrive at your lodge and check in for supper and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
Begin your day with a substantial breakfast, then grab your picnic lunch boxes and start off on a full-day trip across Amboseli National Park. Look for a variety of animals, including nocturnal species returning to their natural habitats, and experience the breathtaking dawn above Amboseli. As you continue your guided game drive, take in the breathtaking vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro, which has three unique summits.
At midday, enjoy your picnic atop Amboseli Observation Hill, with panoramic views of the park’s rich fauna. After lunch, go to Lake Amboseli, where you may see a variety of bird species and creatures come to the marsh to drink.
As dusk comes, see the spectacular sunset above Amboseli. Return to your tent after an en route game drive for a superb meal and an overnight stay in the peaceful surroundings.
Day 3: Transfer Back to Nairobi & Departure
Wake up in time to have breakfast at your lodge/camp and then check out. Meet up with your driver guide and start your trip back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Have lunch in Nairobi, and then your driver guide will drop you off at your preferred hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. If you still have time to explore, you may take a brief tour of Nairobi, seeing intriguing attractions such as the Giraffe Center, Snake Park, and artisan market, among others.
