This 10 Days Kenya and Uganda Safari is takes you on a remarkable journey as you explore ‘Magical Kenya’ and the ‘Pearl of Africa’-Uganda. During the 10 days Kenya and Uganda safari, you will start your trip in Nairobi from where you will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve for exquisite game drives and a cultural tour to the famous Maasai Bomas. You will then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, for a game drive before crossing into Jinja for a boat cruise on the famous Nile River and finally winding up your safari with a game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park. Drop off will be in Kampala or Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary for 10 days Kenya and Uganda safari.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the hotel in Nairobi
Depending on your arrival time on the first day of the safari, you will be picked from the airport by the hotel representative and drive the hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight your hotel in Nairobi.
Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara reserve
After breakfast on the second day of the safari, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, have a short briefing as you prepare for your drive to Masai Mara national reserve. You will have a stop in Narok town where you will interact with the Maasai and other locals.
Your guide will drive you to Masai Mara national reserve where you will engage in an evening game drive and search for wildlife species around the savannah plains like elephants, giraffes, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, rhinos among others. After your game drive, you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3&4: Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve, Masai Cultural Experience
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you around Masai Mara reserve for a full day of exploring the savannah plains in search of elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, antelopes, impalas, zebras, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, wildebeests, cheetahs among others.
You will have a morning and afternoon game drive as you drive around the Masai Mara in search of the wildlife species and other attractions at the destination. You shall also get to encounter the Masai people during a Masai Cultural experience tour that you will have on day 4. After, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.
DAY 5: Transfer from Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru national park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and start the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park – a birder’s haven and a rhino sanctuary. Upon arrival you will have lunch where after you will go for an afternoon game drive along the shores of the lake. You will spot endangered white rhinos, Rothschild giraffe lions, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, elands, water bucks, zebras and the pink necked lesser flamingoes and other birds. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer to Jinja in Uganda
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and start the journey to Uganda with en-route lunch on the way. You will pass through Malaba Border, Tororo and then Jinja arriving in the evening. Upon arrival in Jinja, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your selected hotel in Jinja city.
Day 7: City tour and Source of the Nile
After breakfast, you will go to visit beautiful Itanda falls then go for a city tour where you will visit the industrial park and later go for an interesting boat cruise to the source of the Nile which takes about 2 hours and offers you great views of bird species, beautiful scenery among others. After the boat cruise, you will have lunch where after you will transfer to Kampala arriving in the evening and upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge in the park.
Day 8: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
After breakfast on the seventh day of the safari, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and start the journey to Murchison falls national park which is located in northwestern Uganda. On the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and then proceed the journey with another stopover in Masindi town for lunch.
After lunch you will continue the journey to Murchison falls national park and upon arrival in the park you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the waterfalls, water splashes, views of bird species among others. From the top of the falls, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 9: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for the morning game drive which starts very early in the morning. During the game drive you will be able to view different animals like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda kobs, bird species among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an interesting boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls where you will have an opportunity to cruise meters away from animals like elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks which will be drinking water along the shores, view large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, aquatic bird species among others. After the interesting boat ride you will meet your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.
Day 10: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the safari you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a short game drive where you will be able to see animals that you might have missed during the previous game drive. After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and start the journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch. Upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at any place of your choice.
