Detailed Itinerary of the 1 Day Source of the Nile tour

DAY 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja.

Source of the Nile Experience: Have an early morning breakfast and embark on your day’s trip to Source of the Nile. On arrival, your guide will take your site seeing through the craft village where you can get yourself some souvenirs. You will also visit the Gandhi monument which is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and go on an optional boat ride along River Nile to the point where the source of the Nile is believed to start. You will then proceed to do white water rafting which will take between 2- 3 hours and then have lunch. You will be briefed, fitted into life jackets and be taken through your rafting course. You will do a half-day rafting trip and if you are not interested in rafting, you can opt for half-day kayaking activity.
Boat Cruise: After lunch, you will head to Nile River Explorers for a launch cruise on the Nile. This launch cruise takes 2 hours. Later head back to Kampala where your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
